Stage 1 - Remove the heat shield. As you can see from the next 2 pictures, the primary pipes have melted |

Stage
2 - We make up new replacement pipes in a jig using 1.5" od 304 1.6mm
wall stainless tube that is mandrel bent to keep flow to the original
levels |

Stage 3 - Two of the primary pipes are now cut out and replaced and then TIG welded into place in the jig |

Stage
4 - The remaining 2 primary pipes are now removed and replaced along
with the brand new sensor fittings (304 grade ss). These are again TIG
welded into place in the jig |

Stage
5 - Now that all the pipes and sensors have been replaced the manifold
is pressure tested in a bath to ensure there are no leaks |

 |
Stage 6 - The manifold heat shield and new insulating wrap can now be fitted to the manifold and again TIG welded into place |

Stage
7 - The new blanking plugs and washers for the sensors are now fitted
to the manifold and it is refurbished and ready to return to the
customer. |

Each
manifold costs £557.76 + VAT to refurbish. This price includes all 4
primary pipes along with new sensor bosses and blanking plugs (we do
not reuse old ones)
